About Device Test Labs

Device Test Labs is a small, independent site with one job: help you find out whether the monitor, headphones, speakers or controller in front of you is working as it should — while you can still return it.

Every test runs on your own device, in your browser, using standard web features (full-screen display, Web Audio, the Gamepad API). Each one ends with a plain verdict and the next step, and each page says what the test can and can't tell you. Where a judgement rests on a rule of thumb rather than a standard, we say so. Facts we cite link to their sources.

We don't sell devices, and nothing you test is uploaded or stored.
